50% Bucker Jungmeister 1st Flight

50% Bucker Jungmeister 1st Flight
A couple weeks ago one of FFC's long-time members, Vinny, maidened a gorgeous kit-built 50% scale Bucker Jungmeister. Powered by a 9-cylinder radial engine, it sounds as beautiful as it looks. (unfortunately, no sound was recorded with the aerial video)

After thorough ground-checks, it's first flight went very well. Here's hoping we see many more flights on this giant-scale biplane!

Great Job Vince building and flight test by Scott brought her down safe. Jason your filming keeps getting better beyond what we thought possible just a year ago.

We sent the engine in to have it looked at. We ordered a larger prop. It may fly again soon.

Mad skills all around, great work!

Looks awesome Vinny! I really have to make it out when you are going to re-maiden!

I want to see that girl fly next spring!!

This is your friendly reminder!!

Findlay Flying Circuits
When we spend a day at the field, we don't always make time for lunch. Fortunately, we have lots of options for cooking a quick meal.

Our next cook-out and fun-fly event is scheduled for September 23rd. If "grilled hot-dogs" aren't your thing, we'll also have pulled pork and shredded chicken sandwiches available! Stop by and say 'hi!'

No offense to your turbine dog, but the pulled pork smells amazing. Come on out and get some on Saturday.
